Istanbul Kültür University adopts an inclusive approach that encourages women to participate in fields where they are underrepresented. The university organizes various activities through its faculties and academic units to increase the visibility of female students in technical, artistic, and sectoral areas.

In the 2023–2024 Academic Year, female academics and professionals took active roles in events such as the “Foreign Trade Summit,” “Civil Aviation in Türkiye,” and “World-Renowned Architects and Designers,” serving as role models for students. Additionally, the discussion held on the documentary “Ukraine War Diaries” emphasized the representation of women media professionals and promoted social awareness. The university also encouraged female students’ participation in creative and innovative fields through collaborations such as the TRAMOD Awards 2023 media partnership and the TRT Communication Students Competition.

These initiatives demonstrate that Istanbul Kültür University fosters an institutional culture that supports women’s career development, raises awareness, and strengthens equal opportunities in fields where women are underrepresented. The university continues to enhance these efforts sustainably, contributing to women’s representation in academic and professional life.
