As a higher education institution that upholds universal values, Istanbul Kültür University considers contributing to the promotion of gender equality within society as one of its fundamental responsibilities. The following statement is included in our university’s Constitution:

“Kültür University respects all thoughts and beliefs. It allows the expression of different opinions and considers this a natural right. The limits of freedom of thought and belief are the rights and freedoms of others, universal human rights, our national existence and integrity, the framework defined by science and reason, and the principles and reforms of Atatürk.”

Guided by this article, the Gender Equality Policy established at our university prevents all forms of discrimination against women and implements practices that promote gender equality across all institutional processes.
