Istanbul Kültür University Women and Social Research Unit, within the scope of the 8 March International Women's Day activities, on Thursday, March 11 at 14:00, on Adobe Connect Virtual Classroom Application, together with the students of the Department of Communication Arts Main Art , made a presentation under the title "Woman in Cinema from the Past to the Present".In the presentation prepared by the graduate students with the analysis of films, how women, women's rights, gender equality and gender roles concepts are reflected and conveyed to the audience in important works in the history of cinema were discussed. In the presentation, where Turkey's current situation about women's fundamental rights and freedom, which were recognised in Turkey much earlier than in other countries were also discussed, important information on the subject was shared.
