5.6.6 Women’s Mentoring Schemes

Istanbul Kültür University regularly implements mentoring programs to support the academic and professional development of female students. All mentoring initiatives within the university are designed to ensure the participation of a significant proportion of women (more than 10%) and are conducted within a systematic and sustainable framework.

In the 2023–2024 Academic Year, the “Alumni Mentorship” program reached a wide group of female students from different faculties. Through this program, alumni mentors provided guidance in career planning, professional orientation, and personal development. The process is carried out based on the Plan–Do–Check–Act (PDCA) cycle, with regular monitoring, evaluation, and reporting activities.

This approach demonstrates that Istanbul Kültür University maintains a sustainable support system that promotes the active participation of female students in the learning process and contributes to their career advancement through structured mentoring practices.
